It is an honor to continue the mission of our founder, Dawn Beninghove, RN, in my role as CEO and owner of Companion Extraordinaire. I prioritize the continuation of providing excellent care services to our clients and the Central Virginia community.

My journey in serving the needs of our senior community, and others needing assistance, began in 1988. Since then, I have been blessed to work alongside many amazing individuals at Companion Extraordinaire who, like me, have a deep passion for delivering heartfelt, dignified, and exceptional care for our community members needing assistance. My experiences working in skilled rehab centers, assisted and independent living communities, memory care, rehabilitation therapy, and home care have all deepened my commitment to providing excellence in client care. Through the years, I have proudly been actively involved with many professional and civic associations, providing me with opportunities to serve the community in various positions. I am a longtime coach, and I currently am the President of the Health and Community Resource Network as well as the Virginia Chapter Chairperson for the Home Care Association of America.

Companion Extraordinaire has been a leader in providing extraordinary, high-quality care since 2003. Founder, Dawn Beninghove’s passion and commitment to excellence forged the standards and values that I am privileged to carry forward.
